My favorite article was, "Capping the Bottle: Germany Looks to Tighten Up Public Drinking Rules." The title was pretty funny in a way because it was ironic. This article just made me shake my head and say, "It's about time!" Drinking is very dangerous and it stated in the article how there was an incident were a young man was murdered due to alcohol. I really think that Germany should at least start to emphasize the danger of alcohol, at least to the level of America.
In a different article called, "An Obsession Explained: Beer, Brewskies, and Liquid Bread," it shows how Germany has one of the largest production of beer in all of Europe! There are 1,274 breweries! Which is insane! They want to help limit alcohol? How about starting with a few shut downs haha. It's pretty crazy how there are so many types of alcohol being produced. But, at least they worry about the environment. In a different article it showed how Germans strive to be environment friendly.
The article about German fast food just made me hungry. They have so many different options, which makes their fast food restaurants more interesting than the ones over here. Later on in a different article they brought about the diversity of its food! How there are Turkish meals offered, which is pretty cool, given the image that Germany isn't really diverse.
I enjoyed reading these articles. Really cool, but made me hungry.
